Card Club for May

It seems like the time is going by so fast again...
It's time again to have fun with all the ladies from
Card Club and this month we are working on fun
ways to use flowers and flower stamps.  Some
are easy and some are a bit more but last time they
loved coloring so I thought we could do a little bit more
before we start summer.

The wedding card is m favorite because
it was really easy to do and I just layered
the stamps and embossed the flowers
with silver..  just very elegant I think...

Love this one with Karen Foster dad papers.
The stamp is from Technique Tuesday..

This is another favorite because we have so many
hummingbirds outside right now and I thought
the colors on this would be really pretty!

Anyway I hope they have fun in class this weekend
and I will be sure and post some fun photos
next week.  Have a wonderful day,
Teresa

It just says vintage..

I have another card today to share that I did awhile back
and it's one of my favorites.  I used Graphic 45 papers
for it and used my favorite flower die from
Spellbinders called Bitty Blossoms.. I so love this die!!

For it I also used the Edgeabilites Dies for the bottom
2 layers and a really pretty label die to cut the kraft
cardstock out of.  I used some Want2Scrap bling around
the outside edge and finished it with the pretty
printed flowers that I made.  I really love how the black
makes everything pop more, especially the title. Oh and
I did ink it around the edges and the leaves with
some Chestnut Roan ink.  I think it made it
a little more vintage looking that way..

Thanks for stopping.. I have to go and get
ready for card club this month.  It's going to be a fun one,
(lots of pretty flower cards to post later this week)
 and I love comments
so don't forget to share what is happening in your
part of the crafty world that you do too!

Hugs and Smiles always,
Teresa

Pretty window card

I wanted to share one of my favorite cards today that is up
on the Spellbinders blog.. They have some beautiful smaller
dies for those of you who love fancyness on your cards and one
is this beautiful window die called Windows Three
from the Die Delights Collection.

As you can see from the photo you can use it three different
ways and for my card I created the window with pop dots and added
a pretty flower and some foliage to it.

The two dies that I used to create the backround
behind the window are Detailed Scallops and Floral Ovals.

If you click on here you can see more of these
really cute little dies....be sure and check out the Spellbinders
gallery for more fun ideas to use them too.

Have a really great weekend... Teresa

Cardabilites sketch #75 is up...

Today there is another beautiful sketch to get inspired by
and I did a really cute card today to put up.  But first let
me share the sketch with all of you....

I stayed pretty true to the sketch this time
and used a new paper pad I got from LOTV.
I love vintage papers and this one had alot
of patterns and they all went perfect together.

For the backround of my card I used
Spellbinders Labels 29 and for the red
and the dotted pieces I cut and embossed them
using Labels 30.

I decided to make my own flower
to match and layered lots of inked petals from the
Blossom Two die.  And of course I added some
foliage and the flags and a really simple adhesive
 sentiment from Mrs. Grossmans.

And for the envelope I even went ahead and embossed the flap
with an embossing folder.  I like it and know
exactly who I am going to send it to next month.
Thank you so much for stopping over and
be sure and join us and make your own version
of the sketch and post it up on the blog :)
For my second card I used a 6x6 pad with a travel theme.
It has lots of pretty red, whites and blues and some really
cute tags to use.

Have a great day,  Teresa

A few Quick Cards today

I hope that you all had a nice Mother's Day for those of you
who celebrated someone special in your life.  I had a wonderful
day and love both my kids so much... they are amazing!!

So having some extra relaxing time before "Once upon a Time"
came on -I took a few of my paper pads and some stickers and whipped
up a few cards to share.  They are just quick and easy and no
stamping so not very much mess either... that is my favorite kind.

This card uses one of Spellbinders embossing folders
called Dotted Flowers and I used Labels 28.

The Spellbinders Die that I used on this card
for the pink is called Distressed Edges,
I love that one and Labels 29.  They both give you
some really cute and unique edges to change up
the styles of your cards... cute, cute!

I used papers by My Minds Eye and Dear Lizzy's
new 5th Avenue line .  It was over 102 degrees
yesterday so I was in the mood for something bright
and these prints were really pretty. Popsicle paper
would have been good too!!   I have a few more
to share but I have some other things to get made
first today.  Thanks for coming over to see and
I hope you have a great day :)

Keepin up with dates

It has been a busy week this week with lots of things
going on around the house and working on
samples.  I found some things that I did a while back
to share of some calendars that I did for a class.  It was
really fun and once you start making them you can't stop
and they are perfect for gifts.  You can download free
calendars online to put on them or some SVG files
have some great ones to print out for projects too.

I did one of these that was similar
at CHA once and loved having it on my desk
for a quick date reference so I came up
with the bunch of them using chipboard
and some of my Spellbinders Dies.

This one was the favorite.. I love red
gingham too and of course butterflies.

This one is just 2- 6x6 pieces of chipboard
decorated with a little bit of recipe paper
and a cute little red dotted bow for the top.

The one above is 6 pieces of 6x6 folded in
half and then you glue them together and
you can put a photo on the top and the calendars
all around at the bottom for the year.
The neat thing is you can flatten it and mail
it to someone special for a gift.. Really cute right?

And my last one I want to share is a chipboard
triangle to put on a desk.  The papers are from
Bo Bunny and on the sides you can't see are places
for 2 pictures.  I thought this would be really nice
because you could change it around every once
in a while to change it up.

Thats all for today and hopefully I will have
some good news to share on friday!! Thanks
so much for stopping by and have a really
wonderful day....  Teresa

Pretty little sachets

I have been wanting to share one of my favorite projects that
I did for a long time.  I created these little sachets for Paper
Creations magazine and they came out so pretty and smelled
so good.  To make them you can use any of the Spellbinders
Cut Fold Tuck Dies.  These dies are so pretty and have these unique
cut outs on them that make it perfect for the potpourri that you put
in these to ooze out and make everything smell wonderful!!

First I am going to show you one of the dies that I used for
my first sachet.  It is called the Puzzle Effect
and you can see all of the other styles they have here...

This was my first one and as you can see
the inspiration to create others just kind of
took off.  It was really fun to make and they
would be great for gifts too.  The roses on this
one are Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms.  It's a
must have die so you can make all your own flowers
to match your projects that you make :)

I love the Spellbinders butterfly on this one..

These papers are from G45 and I just love the
pretty soft peaches and creams of this paper line.

Since I love making things with snowflakes I
had to make one to hang for winter too!

My last one i want to show is using Bo Bunny papers.
I had alot of fun creating these pretty little flowers
with the Spellbinders Rose Creation die.  I just pinched them
and inked them up a bit and layered them.  The centers
are a pretty embellishment from Prima.  They were so
pretty I had to buy them in every color.  All the ribbons
are from Stamp Simply Online store and they have so much
to chose from and it's all delivered right to you.. Yay!

The tutorial for this is in the Spring Paper Creations
magazine so be sure and pick up a copy and make a
few for gifts sometime... you will love them!

Have a wonderful day... Teresa
