Purple and Green color challenge for RRR

Today we have a fun challenge up on the RRR Blog using our new
ribbons for this month with lots of purples and greens.  It's been really
fun so far and since i am part Irish i really love this time of year, it reminds
me of my grandmother and i was so lucky to have her.

Today i have 4 cards to share and here is my first one.

This one i made as a pocket card and used the new Authentique irish
papers for it.  I cut apart the shamrocks and the tags and layered them
on the front with a Spellbinders die in green and then tied a cute bow
And my purple is a tiny flower from the WOC Gardenia's.

And then i just got carried away because i love these colors and i made
the hello card and a celtic banner card and that cute little note at the bottom.
The note card came with the design on the top so i cut a piece of purple to
put under it and then added a G45 Tag and some seam binding ribbon to it.
I am going to do a bunch of these for sets maybe to give away.  I really like it.

This one was really fun to make.
There is a really neat set of Celtic dies from Spellbinders and they
have the most beautiful patterns in them.  I used pretty papers from
Graphic 45 to make this and the Hello card and lots of ivory card
stock to cut out the designs.  Oh and the banner is a new die from
A Gilded Life called Baby Buntings.  I can tell already it's going to
be one of my favorites...

And lastly this card i did with another new Spellbinders die in ivory
called Heirloom oval and is part of the new Victorian dies being released.
I used some of my favorite RRR Seam Binding ribbon in a matching
purple and tied it with burlap string in parrot green and a pretty flower
from the WOC Gardenia's set.  It was super easy to make.

Thanks for stopping over to see my ideas for the challenge and be sure
and create something to share with us too.  You will love it.

Have a really wonderful day...Teresa

Heartfelt wishes and Stampendous stamps

Hi Everyone.. today i am sharing 2 cards using a gorgeous stamp set
from Stampendous called Sincere Sentiments.  I can't tell you how often
i could have used a quick card to send out to my friends and family
to cheer them up when times were tough,  so this set was perfect to have.

My first card i am sharing uses the Doily Art embossing folder from
Fun Stampers Journey and Spellbinders for the base and then i stamped
the with deepest Sympathy for your loss in black on a Labels 20 die.  And
it fit perfectly.  I love that.  For the flowers i added a small flourish from the
Spellbinders Sprigs die set in white and a few pearl dots that i made.
I really love the simplicity of this one.

And for my next card i used the Ornate Labels One embossing
folder first to create the base of the card and then stamped my image on the
Decorative Labels One die set that coordinates with it.  It seems so fancy yet
it was so easy to make.  The flowers are from Petaloo with just a small
ribbon tied underneath it.  I Love my flowers and ribbons together!!

So here is the Stampendous sentiment set so you can see all the other ones
that are in the set too.

I have of ideas for more for this set and i think
i might even try to squeeze in a few for my next couple
of classes that i am doing.  Thanks so much for taking
the time to stop over and hope you like them.

Hugs and Smiles...Teresa

It's time for the RRR Blog hop for February

It's already February can you believe it and time for our RRR blog hop.
This month we have such fun colors to use with our Monthly Ribbon
Assortment and i had a wonderful idea to create a special recipe box.

If you started our hop from the beginning you should have
hopped on over from Heather's  blog....

and now it's my turn so let's get started for my share today...

Sometimes for me it's the paper that really gets me inspired and this
paper pack from Heartfelt creations really made this work i think.
All the papers were beautiful spring colors and the patterns were amazing
to work with my spring idea using all the flowers with a birdcage I die cut.

I used lots of the Wild Orchid Gardenias mixed in with a few roses and just a few
of the WOC Sweetheart blossoms in white.  Then i just added some purple seam binding
ribbon that i sprayed and scrunched with water and some leaves and stamens. I love
all these colors together and it really makes it bright and cheerful.

The box was really nice and i got that from my local craft store and it had the
recipe card spacers in it already so that part was really easy to do.  I just
covered each of them with different papers and then used ribbons from
the Feb Ribbon Assortment to tie around each of them. And wha laaa!!
Done and ready to fill with yummy things to cook or give as a present,
I really haven't decided yet what i want to do with it yet.

If you haven't seen it already here is the February Ribbon Assortment.
The colors are really fun to work with and you will see lots of fun ideas
this month from all of us on the blog using them so be sure and check it out.

Thanks so much for stopping over and the next person on the hop for
you to go and visit is the amazing Jenn Cochran ....

Have a really wonderful day!

A little bit of love to brighten your day...

Today i have another fun share for a quick card to make for Valentines
day this Saturday.  Spellbinders has lots of beautiful heart dies you can
use but there is a new one Heart and Flutter and i did both cards and
the hearts for the straws too.  I kept them simple for the most part and
i will give you all the dies i used under each of the photos.

So my first card i started with one of my favorite embossing folders called
Framed Canvas to create that fun dotted design and edge.  Then i cut
and embossed three of the hearts: one in pink, one in white
and one in grey. I glued those as you see and tied a ribbon around
the center before i pop dotted the pink one on.  Then i tied a
pretty bow and added a pink flower that matched from RRR.

And next i thought how fun to cut and emboss these little
cuties and add them to some colored straws that i got.
These were super quick and easy to do.

And lastly this was fun because i made my backround
with the grey paper and embossed it and also cut
out the heart.  Then i adhered a piece of clear acetate in
behind the heart so that i could glue the white one to it.
This way when i popped up the grey piece on the card it
will act as a window for it.  Then i just added a piece of ribbon
with a pretty bow and a pink heart from the basic SB Heart
die set that i have in my stash.  This one was fun to play with
and I really love all the details in this new die.

And I have some exciting news to share too... I have been on
the Cardabilties Team before and put my ring in the hat again for
a possible place and i made it in again for this term!!  I am so happy
to be with all the other fun ladies from around the world again
and look forward to creating with Karan Gerbers sketches!!  :)

That's all for today and thanks for stopping over.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone :)

New Stampendous Sentiment cards

I have a fun share today with some new sentiment stamps that i got from
Stampendous recently.  I am always on the hunt for amazing sentiments that
will fit inside of all my Spellbinders dies and i found a bunch of gorgeous ones
on the Stampendous website and I had lots of fun creating some cards
to share with all of you.

I did them with whites since i am working on things to sell at a new
place in town called Shabbyology.  They were fun and easy cards and
i used some new and old dies for each of them.

This one was by accident because i was playing with one of the new card
creator dies called Floral and i just embossed and didn't cut it out and that
is how i got that gorgeous backround on it.  Then i cut/embossed the SB
Die D'Lite called Fancy Label Tags Three and pop dotted it up on the
left side for a base for my flowers.  The flower i didn't make but should
have (big smile) and glue that to make a nice arrangement with the leaves
from Bitty Blossoms and my favorite Sprigs die set.  I love this card
and the Stampendous Birthday sentiment set you can see below.

There are so many cute sentiments in the set and i have lots more
this week to share so be sure and check back all week for more ideas.

Here is a close up so that you can see all the details in the dies.  I
am a true Spellbinders girl at heart and love how the dies work magic.

I made another card also using the same set with that same little
label only i used the new Baby Bunting die set for the back along
with a pretty piece of lace.  Then i added some pretty flowers and
ribbons that i had in my stash.  I know just who i am giving this one to :)

Well that's it for today... i am really having lots of fun lately and
i do appreciate you stopping over and see you soon,  Teresa

Craft Hoarders Challenge for Feb

Yep it's my favorite time of the month again with our shares from the
Craft Hoarders Design Team!  Our challenge this month was to create a
Valentine, anniversary, wedding or other love themed project so i thought about it
and realized I had the perfect heart box and papers that i have been hoarding
so this put me in high gear to finally do something with it.

It's nice that I had lots of things to use from the Craft Hoarders chart as you can see.
I used a chipboard heart box that i had gotten along time ago and first step was
to cover the top with papers from MME Lost and Found Record it collection.
I also had the chipboard pieces and the ephemera pieces so i layered those with 3D
foam dots on the top and mixed in some Want2Scrap chipboard hearts that i had too.
I am lovin the natural chipboard color so i kept some of it natural and then
chalked it with my favorite Tsukineko chalk ink in Gingerbread.

And here is a closeup of some of the goodies that i layered on the top.  I also
used the bling letters and added a bit more red stickles on the other things to
glitter them up a little to match.  And i put in a little bit of twine just because i love it.

To finish off the edge better i sound some pretty lacy pearls so i glued that on
with adhesive.  For my die cuts i used the Bitty Blossom leaf die and tucked
a bunch of them under all the Bo Bunny flowers that i used.  It was really
a fun project to make and doing Valentines it gave me the opportunity to
over do it and use lots of the goodies that i had.  I even made a little card
to go with it.  I am going to put little love notes in it and cookies for my DH
for Valentines so i think it will be fun.

Here is a list of the products i used:

Papers and goodies from My Minds Eye- Lost and Found Valentines Collection
Bling: Red Stickles
Ink: Tsukineko Chalk Ink in Gingerbread
Spray Mist: Tsukineko Shimmer Spray in Gold
Lace and Tulle: in my stash
Twine: Natural twine from May Arts
Die Cuts: Spellbinders and Want2Scrap
Distressing on the edges
Chipboard Heart Box and Scalloped hearts
Flowers: Bo Bunny and Prima
Scotch Quick dry Adhesive to hold it all together
with 3D Foam dots by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Yep that sounds like i got everything and be sure and go check out all
the amazing things the rest of our team did on the blog here.

Don't forget to leave a comment so i know that you stopped by and i
can come and visit you too.  Have a wonderful day!!

Great ideas for coffee lovers..

Today i have a few fun projects that i did really quick with a fun stamp set that i got from Stampendous.  I did a class before Christmas but i had some
new papers from Adorn it and thought it would be fun to make up a few things.

The cute stamp set "Coffee Talk" you can find here if you need to order it and they
have another one that i used at the bottom called Shared Coffee Stamp.

You know i had to use a few dies for these... it's part of what i do everyday now
and so love it.  One of my favorite dies to use are these cut little Die D'lite circles
that you can use for doilies and such.  I cut and embossed the Medallion 8 in vellum
for the bag and one in paper for the card. And there is another neat die called Sweet Treats.
It's a 2 die set with tags that you can use by themselves or put together like i did.

Here is a closeup of the tag that i did for it.  It has really cute
little beans on the stamp with lots of different sentiments for these.

And this stamp makes me think of a good Australian mate of mine
named Linda Lucas... she has the best posts about coffee and she always
puts a huge smile on my face with them so this is for you Linda :)

Thanks for stopping over and be sure and check out all the
other new stamps that Stampendous is releasing.  I can't wait for some
of them to teach my next few classes with.  It's going to be really fun!!

Big Hugs and smiles...Teresa

Heart Box for Valentines..

Today i have a fun little share for you that i did to put some special
candies that i am going to make up for Valentines.  I love to make
my own little paper boxes with my Scor-pal and this one is a super easy
4 x 4 box with a matching top that is decorated with pretty hearts on it.

I found some really cute papers moving all my stuff last week and
love the simple heart shapes on the paper.  I also had the chipboard scalloped
hearts that were perfect from Want2Scrap that matches the Spellbinders dies
i used. The SB die is called Classic Scalloped Heart and having the die
match the chipboard made it super easy to do.  The bling is also from
Want2Scrap and the ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon that
you can see here. These are fun to do and put in a few doilies with some
giant homemade cookies instead of the candy for your friends.  It's nice
to send a little something to show them how much you care.

That's all for today and thanks for stopping over :)

Big Hugs and Smiles...Teresa
