Border die ideas to share

Hi and welcome to my blog today.  All this month the APG team will be sharing fun ideas to use Becca Feeken's border dies from Spellbinders.  Today i have a quick and easy card to share using Graceful brackets and the Beautiful Dreamer die set.

Border dies are really fun and there are so many things you can do with them so first i wanted to pass on the idea that you can just simply die cut and emboss them into a piece of paper to make cut outs so to speak.  To make this one emboss cut out your piece of paper that you need and die cut and emboss only 1/2 of it at a time when you run it through your machine.  That way each side will emboss.  Then you can layer it over another piece of paper to make it pop and add other dies if you want over the borders cutouts.  Mine is very vintage today with the papers i used from Prima.

And then i layered on the Beautiful Dreamer die with 3D Foam dots and added a few pearls and ribbons.  The stamped piece is done on the same paper and just trimmed on the edge and chalked.  This way I could keep all those curly script lines from the stamp on it.  Don't ever be afraid to try something new, you never know what amazing projects you will come up with!!

Thanks so much for stopping over this week.
